Transparency International–Bulgaria took part in a Round Table organized by the Open Government Initiative / DPK Consulting for the OGI Small Grantees. The project coordinators presented the most interesting investigations of corruption cases in Russe and Varna.

On October 22, 2003 in the National Archeological Museum, Transparency International–Bulgaria celebrated its 5th Anniversary and announced the launch of its Anti-Corruption Resource Center.

On October 7, 2003 was held a conference announcing the Transparency International Corruption Perception Index (CPI) for 2003.

On July 3, 2003 was held a conference announcing the Global Corruption Barometer. The survey was commissioned by Transparency International and Gallup International and measured public attitudes toward corruption and expectations of future corruption levels.

On April 4-6, 2003 was held the final international conference "Political party and election campaign financing in South-eastern Europe: avoiding corruption and strengthening financial control". The event was hosted and organized by TI-Bulgaria with the assistence of the Westminster Foundation for Democracy, the TI-Secretariat and the Bulgarian Open Government Initiative Project. Outstanding researchers, such as Prof. Michael Pinto-Duschinsky, Prof. Vladimir Goati, Yves-Marie Doublet, Ph.D., Assoc.Prof. Dobrin Kanev, Daniel Smilov, Ph.D., Antonii Galabov, Ph.D., presented different systems of political party and election campaign financing.
