Programmes
The Staff of Transparency International-Bulgaria carries out its objectives and aims by development and implementation of projects in the two main programme areas:
The National Programme
- Approbation of the effective models for independent expert monitoring and civil society control of the law-making and privatization processes, based on the principles of accountability and transparency;
- Raising the public awareness to the problems of honesty, transparency and accountability in the work of the State institutions;
- Initiating intercession campaigns on behalf of victims of corruption acts;
Conducting of research projects.
The Regional Programme
- Gathering and dissemination of specialized information on the development of the anti-corruption initiatives in the region;
- Exchange of experience and transfer of know-how transfer among related non-governmental organizations in South-East Europe;
- Establishment of a regional network of third-sector representatives sharing and working in support of the anti-corruption initiative in South-East Europe
